Dr. Stanley Aronson

Dr. Stanley Aronson, a renowned renaissance physician, clinician, researcher, leader in medical education and founding dean of Brown University, passed away last week.

Dr. Aronson has affected & uplifted many people's lives throughout his life and career. As Arthur Robbins put it, a friend of Dr. Stanley Aronson and a member of the Butler Hospital Foundation:

"If you have ever been a patient at any one of Rhode Island’s hospitals; if you have had a loved one in need of end-of-life care; if someone in your life is being treated for dementia, Parkinson’s, or Multiple Sclerosis; or if you’ve been seen by a physician in training from Alpert School of Medicine at Brown University, you have been directly affected by the work of Dr. Stanley Aronson."

Since Dr. Aronson was not someone that would want people to mourn over his death, we will instead remember his brilliant work and what he has done throughout his career.
